LBR will have a special wrap up for the 2014 FanFest in Japan to update everyone on the latest Final Fantasy XIV announcements, but other than that, this is it for LBR in 2014. This has been a HUGE year for LBR between bringing the show back, going out to FanFest in Las Vegas, getting to interview ‘Answers’ singer Susan Calloway, and launching the show live on Twitch. That would not have been possible without you, dear listeners. We’ve said it before: you guys make this show fun! Whether it’s sending emails, tweeting with one of the shows hashtags (#FMFFL, #FappingTheRealm), liking our Facebook posts or calling the show. It’s been getting to know you all that’s been the biggest thrill for us out of 2014.
We’re planning some huge things for 2015! We hope you’ll continue to supporting and listening to Limit Break Radio into the coming new year and beyond!
As always Limit Break Radio is back with another edition of our email segment. We’re catching up on some emails that we’ve received since episode 10, so there’s quite a lot to sift through. Remember, if you would like your email read on the air by one of the Limit Break Radio hosts then send it on over to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can email or tweet your #FMFFLs, just use the hashtag or tweet to us @limitbreakradio. Sorry about the lack of a Twitch video for this episode, Twitch flagged a part of the audio. which is weird because we only stream Final Fantasy music between episodes. We will hopefully not encounter this issue moving forward.
It has been one year since the relaunch of Limit Break Radio as a podcast for Final Fantasy XIV, as so in celebration of this podcasting milestone we present a double sized LBR episode. That’s right a 2 hour special, complete with analysis of the Gamewatch interview Yoshi-P did talking about Samurai, Dark Knight and other small Heavensward tidbits. We also talk about a Massively interview, the upcoming Live Letter and take your calls on the latest installment of Limit Break Radio.
It’s been a few weeks since patch 2.4, Dreams of Ice, has dropped and the Limit Break Radio crew is here to bring you their thoughts on the new content. Hear thoughts and reactions to Rogue and Ninja, Final Coil of Bahamut, Shiva EX, Ultros, and more. The LBR crew also takes your calls about patch 2.4, Kallo leaves abruptly, and Juxta hashtags things. Oh and Nika is there too. It’s pretty much your normal LBR.
Check it out! It’s the Limit Break Radio retrospective video/slideshow from the 2014 Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest in Las Vegas. This video was edited together by the mighty Denmo Mcstronghuge and features every picture we have of the LBR crew out in Vegas. Can you spot yourself?
Limit Break Radio is back again to cover the 2014 London Fan Fest. Even though they weren’t able to attend LBR is breaking down all the important info and announcements from the London FanFest. The crew gets deep into the Dark Knight information, flying mounts, new beastmen and primals and speculation about the upcoming gun class teased at the event. They also dive deep into the patch 2.4 notes, which is like rolling up a Limit Breaking News in the middle of a LBR show. Finally, the show is rounded out with your calls. Thanks for calling in to the show everyone!
We’re back for the second part of our 2014 Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival coverage. Aniero and Nika are reporting from the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas, well, if we’re honest it’s mostly Nika because Aniero completely overdid himself in true Vegas fashion at the FFXIV Fan Fest After Party at Insert Coin(s). We continue to interview the greatest community in online games, snagging interviews with a ton of the cosplayers, Sonomaa Kihten of the legendary Order of the Blue Gartr, Joshua Grey host of the Official FFXIV Fan Fest Twitch Stream, cosplay judges KO Cosplay and Lisa Lou Who and SO many more! Thanks again to absolutely everybody who said hello, talked to us for an interview, took pictures with us, came out to Insert Coin(s), stepped up to our wrap up mic, posed for pictures, raided with us or helped us with gear. We met so many amazing people this weekend and this show isn’t possible without you guys. Please enjoy Part 2 of Limit Break Radio’s 2014 Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest Special.
It’s Limit Break Radio’s coverage of the 2014 Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival from out at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas! What a weekend! There were so many amazing announcements: the new expansion Heavensward and the trailer that accompanied it, along with confirmation of a new playable race, huge new zones, new jobs, a level cap increase, and so much more. Plus a ton of 2.4 info and even some peeks into 2.5 as well. Aniero and Nika spent a lot of time talking to members of the community about their experiences at Fan Fest and their reactions to all the exciting announcements. We spend a little time with Matt Hilton of the Square-Enix community team, catch up with old friends and make new ones. This episode includes clips and interviews from the registration day and day 1 of Fan Fest as well as our wrap up recording in the Rio Pavilion right outside the convention doors. Keep an eye on our website for part 2 of our FanFest wrap up which will come out within the next few days as well as tons of pictures and videos from out at the 2014 Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival.
